bored outta my shell

so, i'm done with class until next week and i don't know what to do with myself.  sewed, baked, cleaned, and crafted. made a lot of envelopes and some other cute pen pal stuff (abbiiiii get to me) 

went through all of my craft boxes, folders, bags, and found some really tyte artifacts previously forgotten:

somehow this phone chair makes me hate the world a little bit. no. a lot. i know taste is completely subjective but really? i'm gutting my apartment tomorrow. i can't end up like this.  must streamline.

keep what you sow

i think my rosemary plant knows its spring.  all of a sudden its growing like a speed racer in every direction but up.  its been perfuming my kitchen all year but i've never really used it for anything except a good sprinkle over some fingerling potatoes.  

until today! 

i searched for something creative to put the plant to use and came across a lemony rosemary cupcake recipe from one of my favorite cooking blogs, vanilla garlic.  the recipe is easypeasey, and the results are really lovely-look'n.  it feels so fresh to be able to connect with what you cook.  this summer will be about cultivating my green thumb.
